Be careful where you are getting your health care from - was exactly what my health insurance cancer support representative told me after she got off the phone with the office of Jeremiah Boles. She knew I was at the wrong place. And after he unjustly undermined another UNC physician I saw previously, then purposely withheld a new, cost-effective and safer treatment (less cardiac issues!!) for the purpose of bringing in more revenue for his salary, I had to release Boles from my care team. Has one of the most personable characters you could ask for from a physician...warm, compassionate, responsive to questions and goes the extra mile for his patients...I highly recommend Dr. Boles and his staff.
I am 26 and Dr. Boles handled my chemo process from colon cancer. He was really personable, professional, knowledgeable, and downright the best doctor I have ever had! I would recommend him to anyone that is seeking medical care.
I really enjoyed my initial visits with Dr. Boles. Our doctor-patient conversations were awesome. But when he started my treatment, he was seemingly “beholden” to one pharmaceutical within that treatment. A regimen that gave me horrific side effects. Despite many attempts to discuss the SAFER, more cost-effective and more efficacious replacement that I wanted, he avoided discussing my concerns every time. Never found out why. Dr. Boles handled my husband colon/rectal cancer. He is the most professional and caring doctor I have ever had the opportunity to work with. I would recommend him without any reservation.
Dr Boles has been my husband’s doctor since 2011 and my doctor since 2013. In our opinion Dr Boles is the best, most compassionate doctor a person could have. We are so blessed to have him as our cancer doctor ????
What an awesome and amazing doctor. Always pleasant., warm to talk with, speaks medical terms in language I can understand ;-). Dr. Jeremiah Boles “always” shows deep concerns for my mom’s health and wellbeing. My mom is 84 she forgets a few things, but she never forgets Dr Boles, his staff members and his awesome taste in socks... Thank you for sharing Dr. Boles as part as my mom's care medical team. If the Start list was longer I'm sure I would check them all. ;-)
Dr. Boles is a kind and compassionate physician. He spends as much time as you need and is not rushing to the next patient. He is knowledgeable and treats you with dignity and respect.
Dr.Boles in very kind and patient.He explains everything in great detail and does not seem to be in a hurry (like most doctors). He treats you with respect and does not talk down to you,as if you do not know anything.He is young,like the Doogie Howser of Oncology :) but that is not a bad thing.Looking forward to having a long-lasting relationship with him and his staff.
