Dr Allen was my primary care doctor for several years before she stopped practicing at the clinic I went to. She listens to anything you have to tell her & has been amazing as a doctor. She doesn't try & experiment with new meds like other doctors (which is good because I tend to be allergic to the vast majority of them), and has been the best PCP I've had to date.
True about her demeanor being cold and distant. Appointment easy to make, staff change at downtown office and they seem less caring than she does. Last visit with her and she look at me for 5 minutes and walked away after prescribing me OTC meds. Asked her if that was it, replied "not a miracle doctor" then skipped out of her office without a care. Previously great but not sure if going back
Every experience with Dr. Allen has been sub par. She has a flat affect/demeanor. She asks what is going on as she stares at her computer. It is obvious she is not passionate about her work. She spends about 5 minutes and then decides what she will prescribe. She also does not consider my concern to change my medication that I have been on for two years because the side effects are becoming too detrimental.
