There are better vets in Petoskey We took our dog to Jensen's for 2 years. Their prices are very high. We also experienced "snootiness" with some of the staff there. Their medications were so expensive we switched to 1-800 pet meds and got a "stern" lecture from them about switching. When we requested they send our dog's prescription to 800 pet meds, they refused. We stopped going there. They did get 2 stars from us because they treated our dog well, they just have issues with how they treat people.
This team is the absolute BEST, bar none. From the office staff, to the techs, to the veterinarians, excellence. They are compassionate, nurturing, and put your pet first. Their facility is clean, vibrant, and professional. Our dog was handled with love, patience, and caring consideration to calm his fears. His medical care under Dr. Henning has been exceptional. Professional, compassionate care when we had to put our 14 year old puggle down. Tia had been a patient since she was a pup and everyone at Jensen's was amazing during such a difficult time.

Derek's journey in life began in mid November 2007. I met him in late December that year, and brought home a bumbling puppy with paws too big for him. For nearly thirteen years, the folks at Jensen's have been there thought it all with him. Allergies, injures, good times and bad. Today we said goodbye, as the cancer had stolen his quality of life. Thank you guys, for always being there for us ❤️
New puppy mom here, and I couldn’t be more impressed with Jensen’s. I had lots of questions, but they were eager and more than willing to answer them all. They were all super friendly and I was surprised at how quick the appointment was. Thank you all for your help and service!
