Was looking to hire this lawfirm for a simple legal opinion regarding the legality of recording police in a public lobby of a RCMP detachment. Was actually told that police policy was that it was not allowed so that's it. Policy is not law. I of course asked about section 2b of the Charter of Rights and Freedoms and was told it did have any relevance. The Charter is dead. The lawyers have already begun the Reset.
