For about 1 year I went in to see Dr Chapman and came away with the worst possible outcome. He kept putting me off and I kept telling him I was going paralyzed and he didn’t believe me. I waisted my time and he is more concerned other things than his patients. I’m crippled now and had a short window to fix the problem and he failed. Swedish is not the place to go for anything.
Dr. Chapman performed an emergency spinal decompression surgery on me. He was easy to talk to and 3 weeks out I am doing great!
Woof, Where to begin with this guy! I was referred to him for a consultation for a L5-S1 “slipped”vertebrae, and happen to ALSO have Ankylosis spondylitis which was diagnosed after several years of work up by a board certified rheumatologist. I am not exaggerating when I say my whole appointment was spent by him telling me I did not have this rheumatologic disease that I was diagnosed with. Yes, by a Rheumatologist! Dr Chapman saved my life. I had surgery Feb 2020. He was very direct and to the point but very sympathetic to my situation. Explained everything to me in detail. Even his lovely wife made an aftercare book which really helped. I can’t say enough positive things about this man. Highly recommend.
Worst healthcare provider I have ever encountered . He is impossible to reach, will not talk to my primary care physician, has incompetent and ignorant staff. He has no regard of the value of your time and NEVER makes it to an appointment on time. He is arrogant and makes you read a book that his wife wrote. I wonder how much insurance has to fork out for the publication. Strongly suggest that you find a different provider
