My husband was referred to Dr Aagard for an ablation. We found him to be very nice took the time to explain the procedure and even made a little drawing of how it would work. The procedure went well. My only regret is we were not referred to him sooner so the the damage to my husbands heart would not have been so bad. We saw him again for the installation of a Watchman devise. Always a pro and easy to deal with. Advocate is lucky to have him on staff.
My first visit with Dr. Aagaard went well. He explained the results of my heart monitor report and was very reassuring. He listened to my questions and answered them fully. He was very kind and calm and I left with a sense of relief knowing that I now have a new excellent cardiac specialist.

He was very thorough in explaining the EV-ICD to my husband and I . He answered our questions in ways we completely understood .
Dr. Aagaard is outstanding! He is a top notch incredibly knowledgeable specialist with training from Cleveland Clinic. Highly recommend. I had total trust in his recommendations based on his expertise. Also fantastic compassionate listener.
