I saw a mouse in our kitchen on Dec 3rd and submitted a maintenance request immediately. Jennings communicated that pest control would come in and put traps. However, the pest control ppl did not show up during the time frame that they told they would come, and Jennings just went on and marked the maintenance request as completed on Dec 8th. I'd leave 0 stars if I could. Jennings is the worst property management company in Eugene. Von Klein is a close second. (Capri is my recommendation as far as bang for your buck goes) Despite being a group of tenants who never caused problems, paid rent on time, and moved into a unit with TONS of scrapes on the wall and run-down parts, they screwed us on our security deposit. Jennings group has been very active in any issues we have as a tenant. Long time tenant 7 years plus,
I rented from Jennings group in two seperate units over the course of four years and got exposed to black mold in both units. the first time, I got extremely sick and had to vacate the unit to receive treatment. I only asked for one months rent back (for the time i was displaced due to the mold) and they agreed over the phone to comp the one month (after much arguing and blaming me for the mold) and then proceeded to take it out of my entire groups security deposit while i wasn’t looking…. This review is regarding my experience renting at McCornack place primarily about the onsite manager Morgan Vail. Morgan is the absolute best onsite manager you could ask for, she made the apartments feel more like a community and always did her absolute best to fulfill any problem that arose. For example when we first moved in our fridge stopped working and within a hour we had maintenance at our door and a hour after that we had a new fridge.
