Our daughter has been going to Dr. Yonkov's office for over two years now. When she started out, she was allergic to wheat, soy, dairy, eggs, and several nuts. While receiving treatment, our daughter has beaten her allergies for everything, except almonds and peanuts... she has an almond challenge in a few months and we're hoping that gets better, too! I was pleasantly surprised to find a young doctor that was extremely thorough, had a wonderful bedside manner, listened to all your concerns, and actually seemed to care. Unfortunately, Dr. Yonkof went on a long leave of absence, but left very inept physicians in charge of her patients. I chatted with two of them and when I asked about certain testing that Dr. Yonkof ordered, the replacement doctors said "that's not their expertise." Dr. Yonkof goes above and beyond for her patients. She really takes the time to listen, encourages patients to be a part of their care team, and is great at explaining things in an understandable way. She’s the best!
