There was a property I later learned had been selling for 3 months before this agent told me to put 1000 down just to get an offer. A caring professional and concerned for fairness professional would have NEVER advised a buyer to put down 1000 for an offer 1) the property was sitting for 3 months 2) that means the property would have numerous repairs 3) 1000 to a seller is to make good with other realtors at the buyer expense.
