I was seeking a second opinion on Oral Surgery when a co-worker suggested Dr. Schaumberg. I called the office and was able to get an appointment within days. I went in and explained my unusual situation. (Nine months prior I had apico. surgery on three teeth and was still having pain and discomfort in two). During the summer of 2015, I got all 4 of my wisdom teeth removed. I was quite nervous, but after the consultation with Dr. Schaumberg, I was ready to go! The day of the surgery, the staff was extremely calming and answered all my questions. The surgery itself was fast and the recovery time wasn't bad at all. I was given a detailed list of instructions that answered all my questions. The office was beautiful. It was very clean and felt peaceful. From my first visit I must say I was very apprehensive. Reason being I knew I was going to need anesthesia.. I had three impacted wisdom teeth with very difficult roots to remove. Something about Dr.Schaumberg during the consultation let me know that everything would be OK, so I went ahead and made the appt. Fast forward to the day of surgery. The most professional group of Oral Surgeons that we have ever been to. Dr. Schaumberg is both a skilled surgeon and a caring person. She spent time with my son who was nervous about the surgery and called in the evening following his surgery to check-up on him. We highly recommend Dr. Schaumberg to anyone without reservation.

I have to admit I hate going to the dentist, let alone oral surgeon. I was referred to Dr.Schaumberg to have 2 wisdom teeth removed (one with a nasty cavity). She made me feel extremely comfortable and did an amazing job. I had no pain and was swollen for just one day. I would recommend Dr. Schaumberg to anyone. Her and her staff took the extra time and care that you just don't find in many businesses today.

My 11 yr. old daughter had 7 teeth removed. I wanted to have it done by an an excellent oral surgeon. She was recommended to us by the Orthodontist. I was extremely satisfied and my expectations were met. My daughter was extremely anxious about the whole process. Dr. S reassured her and showed very good bedside manners. My daughter healed very quickly. She displayed confidence but was not arrogant.

I had my wisdom teeth removed last week and I WOULDN'T MIND GETTING IT REMOVED AGAIN. completely painless!!!! i was put to sleep and woke up and i was home and by the 3rd day, i was eating! of course, the back of my mouth was still swollen but i was able to chew from the front. THIS WAS A MILLION TIMES BETTER THAN I EXPECTED that i had to come to this site and express my feelings. And on top of that, shes so comfortable to get along with! Dr. Schaumberg is a wonderful surgeon! She is extremely kind woman who possesses an over abundance of knowledge and skills in her field. Her office makes you feel as if you were going to a spa! She had to lance my infected gum to drain because of a dead root. There is no scar that was left from her procedure. In addition, I had my wisdom teeth pulled and after she was done, it was almost as if she never worked on my mouth. For someone that has a very big phobia of anything dental related, this was a breeze. From the first step into the office you get a sense of calm and no dentist smell. Dr Schaumberg was referred to me by a friend and she was able to squeeze me in as her first appt [which she came in early to do so]. Turned out I had an infected tooth and she pulled it out before I even knew what she was doing. She talks to you the whole time, telling you what you need and being reassuring.
