I highly recommend Jennifer. She is a very talented and skilled stylist with a welcoming studio.
I started going to Jennifer when she was at EC Plaza. I loved her cute space there and love the Berkeley location even more! I come religiously about every 4-6 weeks to get my roots done - which by the way, the 3 pack root touch up is a great way to go! Prices are very reasonable for the quality and service! Jennifer is the stylist to see! Stop searching and book her now if you haven’t already. There’s a reason she only has 5-star reviews — she’s that good. The last stylist I went to completely over-foiled my hair and made it way too blonde for my taste. I had just accepted it over time, but when I booked with Jennifer, she immediately stood out. Jennifer has done it again! I went to her for my haircut last year, came again this year for a refresh, and she did such an excellent job! She is such a good stylist and a great listener. She has perfected the balance of both retaining length and cutting off damaged hair, and I'll be coming back to her for as long as I live in the Bay for long, flawless hair.
First time at Jennifer’s studio and it was great! Impeccable salon space, small but totally relaxing. Left very happy with my cut (long-ish hair with layers and long curtain bangs) feeling refreshed. Jennifer was super sweet and professional, and I’m happy to have a new salon in El Cerrito!
