Island hospital is always taking great care of me especially Austin the nurse who is amazing! My surgeon Jennifer Reems is great and I am so happy to have found her, she is an amazing surgeon.
Dr Reem performed a shoulder surgery on my right shoulder. When I was taken to the pre surgery room I was met by a female nurse and her assistants. She did a great job of explaining the procedure and what to expect. The next person that entered was the anesthesiologist, who was also a woman. She proceeded to explain how she was going to introduce the pain blocker. She did an excellent job of explaining the procedure as well as including me in the discussion.
