It's rare to find a doctor who is truly great. In my experience, most of them range from "pretty good, I guess" to "I'm lucky to be alive after being your patient." Dr. Marti is one of the few who is truly great. Not only is she an excellent surgeon, but she actually listens to her patients. She talked to me like I was another human being, not just a job to be done. Dr Marti is very nice and positive, which is very important. She listens and explains very well. She is very knowledgeable. Did my surgery, everything went well. I higly recommend her.
Dr. Marti performed my breast surgery. She was kind and professional. Explained everything to me regarding the procedure and she and her entire staff made me feel at ease at a very stressful time. Someone was always available for questions and concerns. I would highly recommend her to everyone.
Just a tip for this surgeon: When a 28 year old, 3 days out from being diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer, looks at you and asks you if this is a death sentence, you MIGHT want to look up from your computer, stop typing, look her in the eyes, and answer the question. I can tell she knows what she’s doing, but her bedside manner absolutely sucks, especially during the worst moment of people’s lives. I’m very happy I went to MSK instead.
