Dr. Manuel operated on my daughter in late 2005 when she was working for Lifespan at Rhode Island Hospital. My daughter was 11 yrs old and had fractured her R wrist, the ER had to reset her wrist and put it back into place. They did not cast her, they only splinted it n gave me a referral for an orthopedic. Her wrist then popped out of place and we ended up following up with Dr Manuel who had to operate on my daughter and rebreakchild and rebreak her wrist put pins in it and put a cast up to her arm pit.She needed the cast f... read more
I had arthritic thumbs, and had surgery on my left hand in CO. I then needed surgery on my right hand after we moved to Nocatee. Dr. Manuel (at Baptist South) performed my second surgery, and did a wonderful job. If I ever need hand or wrist surgery again, I will definitely go to Dr. Manuel to fix me up.
WORST SURGEON EVER! I wouldn't let her operate on an abandoned dog. She screwed up my wrist surgery so badly, it's taken a far superior surgeon two revision surgeries just to make my hand/wrist functional again. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!! Do your research... or find a good Attorney.
She is absolutely the best! Actually cares, listens then fixes si fast - love her!
