Dr. Jennifer Lord is, without question, one of the worst doctors I have ever encountered. If you are looking for a neurologist with absolutely no bedside manner, empathy, or ability to communicate with patients, she is the doctor for you. My experience with Dr. Lord was incredibly frustrating. I felt dismissed rather than listened to, and I left appointments feeling like she had little interest in actually figuring out what was going on with me. The overall experience was okay. I understand that my case is somewhat unique and may require additional testing and imaging, but I left the appointment feeling like I had more questions than answers. I was hoping for a little more insight or direction beyond “I don’t know, we need more imaging.” I completely understand that not everything can be answered in one visit, but I would have appreciated a more thorough explanation of what the possibilities could be and what the next steps were.
