I was not told by the doctor that the procedure would cost more than the co-payment. Received a surprise bill. Went to immediate care for similar procedure prior to this visit that didn’t cost anything more than co-payment. Here, I was charged for a procedure. Had I known, I would have gone back to immediate care. I understand the doctor may not know exact pricing, but they can at least say that the procedure is not covered by co-payment so I can ask insurance ahead of time how much I will have to pay for procedure. 5/5 I have gone to Dr. Shastry on 2 separate occasions and both times she was excellent! Dr. Shastry is very confident in her diagnosis and makes the solution seem easy all while being extremely polite and professional. Her attitude and confidence put my mind at ease to where I fully trust her and her team to treat my condition(s). As someone who feels uneasy or scared when I do not know what is going on, Dr. Shastry and NW Medicine make me feel very comfortable and at ease anytime I come to them for help.
Great experience interacting with Dr. Shastry. She explained the problem to me and patiently answered the questions. The NM facility is also really good.
Absolutely LOVE Dr. Shastry. Few doctors take the time to address your concerns in a patient and caring manner, she is one of them!! She’s thorough and her entire staff displays the same kind of compassion. Would highly recommend!
Poor front office staff, poor patient communication and no follow up. Little confidence.
