Dr. Jennifer Lu is the most incredibly kind, skilled and attentive surgeon at Mercy. She listened carefully to my husband's past medical history, answered all his questions, and made him feel at ease throughout the visit. I will try to make this short but there's so much to say. Dr Lu saved my life on May 15th. The week prior to that surgery I had another surgery to cut out some of my diverticulitis and reconnect my colon. On May 15th I ripped my stitches open on accident and was rushed to the local hospital by my wife and daughter. Dr. Lu requested the other hospital to send me for surgery immediately to her.
