I saw Jennifer for a couple of months. Quite personable. But I had to stop after I kept asking myself “What am I getting out of this?” and couldn’t think of anything. The great majority of therapists are at best mediocre, and at worst, terrible. Jennifer was in the former category. Although she occasionally had some helpful ideas, she would mostly just listen. Listening is important, of course. But not when it takes up most of the session. Money and time not well spent.
