Dr. Bernstein unfortunately had an alternate agenda when it came to my care. She specializes in “mood and anxiety disorders,” and neglected my case entirely when I was uncomfortable discussing my recovering alcohol addiction with her. Dr. Bernstein insinuated that I was addicted to a medication that she herself had prescribed, and then cut me off from her care entirely because she was unhappy with the progress of my treatment.
