I would never use this company! They are scammers and will not speak to you about anything, they took money from my 85-year-old grandmother and will not speak to me. Shane Knight or whomever he is says I am yelling at him, and he talks over you. I am trying to get to the bottom of why he took a cashier's check that was not supposed to be made out to him or even given to due to the waived the deductible for the fixing the roof. They are running a shady business and scamming people out of their insurance money. Keep telling me... read more

We purchased a home that had just had work done from Jenkins Restorations due to a fire. We have been trying for 2 months to get a document showing that there was a new roof for insurance purposes. We have called, emailed, talked to the contractor in charge of the project, contacted the company… no one has been able to give us a simple document showing the work was completed. The company has no follow through and has not answered the calls or responded. Thanks to them my insurance will be higher then it’s supposed to.

My Insurance Company wanted me to use Jenkins to restore water damage to my house. Jenkins out of San Antonio Texas are LIERS. Chris called and rudely told me they would not work with me to find someone else! His issue was I questioned paying them in full up front prior to all the work being completed. The moment I mentioned Statutory Retainage Chris refused to do the work. Then he LIED to my adjuster and told him I wanted them to do extra work for free. Extra work was talked about-yes. My home was flooded as the result of a plumbing accident, and Nationwide insurance company advised me to use their preferred vendor (not mine ). I wanted my house back to normal ASAP, and didn't want to make it any harder or have to wait longer for my repairs, so I accepted their recommendation. I felt that I had to share my experience after reading all of the negative comments. I had a water issue from my air conditioner that damaged the sheet rock and flooring in my bedroom and hall closet. Mr. Herrera, the mitigation specialist and his intern responded in a timely manner and was very professional. I had a water loss at my home that went unnoticed for months because it was leaking behind my kitchen cabinets. My insurance company gave me Jenkins for the contractor. My bedroom engineered floor had to be replaced. The foreman brought out a sample and laid it on the floor to show me it was the right color and the same quality. When they started putting in the floor I realized it was very cheap. The installer said the flooring I had before was very good and that the flooring Jenkins had sent was not good flooring. Very cheap! Don't trust them. They lie.

I had a water loss in my condo. The water mitigation team showed up very quickly and dried out the rooms. The project manager came by and had his crew fix the damaged drywall and carpet. It took a bit of time to get reimbursed for the insurance claim, but I'm very happy with the work Jenkins did. Would definitely recommend.

Around 80% of my home was damaged after a hurricane. My insurance recommended Jenkins. At first, they seemed to want everything done right, said the contract out work their company didn’t do so we wouldn’t have to deal with anyone else. Turns out..EVERYTHING was contracted out. Contract companies sometimes didn’t show up for days & Jenkins knew nothing. We had to fight for every piece of work to be done. Wrong materials were ordered & had to be reordered, longer wait times.
