The restoration was ok, but the moving of belongings was terrible. They lost, damaged, or stole many things. What was especially hard was that some of our documents disappeared; including a new passport. All the alcoholic beverages were not returned, also kitchen and laundry supplies were removed.
Contacted Jenkins regarding a mold growth in one room and met with Jonathan Miller. Jonathan arrived and did his assessment and determined it was a small area of growth that seemed to be due to an isolated event, but not requiring any major demo at this point. He was very helpful and friendly and I appreciated his less is more approach to the issue. First off, David has been the hero we have all needed a ton of times over the last few months. We first met David late 2023 as we were in the process of replacing the floors and found a TON of really terrible damage. Him and his entire crew made the project a simple and straight forward task that took half as long as our last company we used, DC Restorations. They were an absolute blessing to work with and made sure that we were taken care of and a part of every decision. Thank you so much!
RUN AWAY AS FAST AS YOU CAN!!!!!! This company destroyed our house and cost us MORE money than the original claim. USAA sent us to this bogus company and it took them over a year to ATTEMPT to repair what should have been done in less than 30 days. After they destroyed a 30 year old fresco in the dining room, they left a hose running in our upstairs bathroom and flooded the other half of the house that was not part of the original claim. The thermostat that Jenkins installed during restoration work pursuant to a fire, stopped working. There was an HVAC contractor listed on the thermostat which I thought was there for a reason. So I called but at the same time emailed Jenkins. The contractor on the thermostat said he never worked on my home and that the thermostat was stolen.
