I hired Mr. Owens to represent and guide me through the probate process after my mother passed away. Even as executor of her estate, and having one of the beneficiaries that I know would make things more difficult, I did not anticipate how much would be involved in this process. The hurdles, judge requirements, bond requirements, beneficiary needs, etc. was a lot. The very least this attorney could’ve done would have been to charge me for a consultation fee and office meet to allow me to run through the A-to-Z of my issue… Rather than allowing me to go off the cuff on the phone about a myriad of subjects encompassing a year relating to my business issue; rather than conveying to me that he had zero interest to begin with to even be having a conversation with me over the phone, catching any part of the highlights of my business issue and then telling me he’s not interested.
