I thought the CSI Next May 19, 2026 presentation "Glazing Systems Delegated Design: A Hole in the Envelope" was fabulous. It was a real eye-opener on the whole Delegated Design process. Do not assume it is OK to just use an out of the Box specification section that calls for Delegated Design and you are done.
JEI was amazing, the only firm to drop what they were doing to address a big issue we had with a trilayered laminate glass and frame for a zoo project. A huge ask and they delivered. Matt Q. Was the one who took this on and was so helpful and willing. We will most definitely use them again whenever it’s needed. Thank again JEI!

I hired JEI this past summer (2025) to complete the structural engineering for a new commercial building that my company was designing the glazing system for. I am the Engineering Dept. Manager and my companies licensed Structural Engineer. I don’t always have the time to complete the structural engineering design for all of our projects.
