I thought I was done with this loser. So on top of all the other things I mentioned in previous review, this guy put an alternator he broke in my car! $2600 to the piece of work. I have filed a small claims court appearance. If anyone has had this FELON work on you vehicle YOU ARE NOT SAFE. Zip tied brake line, evaporator sensor, alternator, BENT tie rod end and aluminum casting of engine broke off while replacing the transfer case. Stopped in Monticello for gas and noticed a brake problem, couldn’t keep driving in this condition but it was after business hours. Called around local auto shops and Jeff immediately answered. Took care of us quickly and I didn’t feel like he took advantage of our situation. If I lived in Monticello, he’d be my local guy!
Choosing a mechanic can be anxiety inducing. I brought my truck to Jeff for an oil leak and he repaired it promptly and very reasonably. I also asked him to service my 4 wheel drive system and he replaced all of the fluids with full synthetic at a decently lower price than the other garages in town. I would certainly recommend Jeff to anyone and he will be taking care of my vehicles for the foreseeable future!
Jeff’s Automotive was very responsive and was able to get my vehicle in the next day. He gave me upfront and excellent pricing. He even worked late to get my vehicle fixed by his committed date. 10/10 service and quality of work, will use him again in the future and recommend him to anyone.
On a cross-country drive, our car started making noise on a Saturday night. Jeff’s was open and kind enough to squeeze us into their busy schedule. Thank you for the quick service, fair price, and peace of mind!
