Had a good experience with both Dr. Wishik & his NP, Sarah-Jane, but his wife/manager/“attorney” who is also the receptionist is straight up from hell. I’ve never met a more disrespectful, derogatory, rude, impatient, and horrible medical office personnel. To be the face you first encounter when you check in is not doing this office any good. Dr Wishik is wonderful, as is his daughter the other doctor. The receptionist, is abrupt/direct and expects that clients are adults who show up on time, with their information, and understand how the medical reimbursement system works. I have never had a problem with anyone at this practice, and find them immensely helpful.
I wasn't expecting to see this. I find the receptionist to be a little aloof, but she has always been professional and accommodating. I would never write a review for a doctor, but I find many of the descriptions to be inaccurate. Dr. Wishik has helped me greatly over the years. Thank you!
Questionable business practices.
Don’t bother.... Dr is great but the wife/secretary/office manger is in the wrong business. Lack of tact and extremely condescending! She literally told me to go in the hallway because my 1yr was crying!! Was a patient for years, not anymore after that!!! She in the wrong field if she doesn’t have any compassion. Lawyer to secretary... HMMMMMM
Horrified! The doctor is good doctor but doesn’t run the show there!! After being a patient for several years and tolerating the office manager/receptionist/wife’s lack of compassion and common courtesy for others I couldn’t deal anymore. For several years I’ve paid for appointments out of pocket, I finally had my PCP send an referral only to be told I need to have information on what my insurance covers. Sweet man, HORRIBLE office manager. Treated me like scum, had an attitude because my INSURANCE didn’t update my coverage status (the whole visit was covered with no copay), said I was “trying to pull one over” and threatened to not give me my “pills” (I had no prescription from them!!!)
Dr. Wishik is great! I am so upset to have to find another doctor because of the way the receptionist (his wife) treated me. I was 8 minutes late to an appointment due to a traffic jam. Upon arriving I was reprimanded, refused to be seen, and given an ultimatum. I had to come back at a time that didn't work for me next week or not at all. She wouldn't even check for an appointment a month or two out! She said too bad this office doesn't accommodate patient's schedules. She is a horrible person!
Dr. Wishik is wonderful, the office manager, however, is one of the rudest people I have ever encountered. She is condescending, impatient, and flat out rude. I will not be going back because of having to deal with her.
