I have been seeing Dr Sanders for a moderately high prostate psa result for over a year now that has included biopsy and mri tests. He is highly skilled and methodical in his assessments and explains the process, procedure and results in a very clear way. His Dr/patient skills are outstanding IMO.
He did a great job on my surgery. No problem after.
Dr. Sanders was a complete jerk when I took my 2 year old in for a hydrocele. He was rude, sarcastic, demeaning, and hard a hard time listening to what I was trying to tell him. He actually told me “you would have to give me more for me to actually buy that“. I tried to communicate the growth and changes we have seen but he had no interest in listening. He only wanted to lecture me on “elective procedures”. I can’t even express how offensive he was. Worst experience ever!

Dr Sanders is a very good doctor; the best, but communications with his office is very poor. Five days after my surgical procedure (mid March) I had to go to Providence ER Sunday AM. I was told to call my doctor on Monday. I called twice on Monday and twice on Tuesday and my call was never returned. Today (4-20) I got a voice message to call urology. Dr. Sanders has been administering testosterone shots to my 88 year old father since 2014. My mother has been in Memory Care due to Alzheimer’s/dementia while he lives in Assisted Living. This is grossly unethical as Dad’s testosterone level has been noted to be between 600 and 1200. It is apparent that Dr. Sanders and his staff do this every 2 weeks for the the money and not for the good, physically or mentally, of the patient. It is a travesty as it has affected his mental state.
Dr. Sanders has a very patient side manner. He takes the time to explain options and alternatives. I felt very comfortable with him.
