My surgery took 2 hours longer then expected. I had a posterior/anterior L5-S1 fusion. When I woke up from surgery I was in excruciating pain from Dr. Pinto inserting a screw through my nerve during surgery. I couldn't walk for days. When I did get up to try to walk all the meds they were giving me, dilaudid and valium, made me black out and fall to the bathroom floor in the hospital. Before Dr. Pinto did surgery on my back, I had no life because walking, even moving, was so painful. The surgery he performed gave me a new life. It was wonderful. No more pain. I would highly recommend him.
