When I called I found out he doesn't take insurance patients and I can only afford insurance rates. But he took the time to tell me about the types of psychiatrists I might find on the list of in-network psychiatrist from the insurance company and was willing to go through some names on it to see if anyone he would recommend is on the list- on a separate phone call from the initial phone call I made AFTER I said I cannot book an appointment with him for financial reasons. Dr. Kahn is by far the most kind, knowledgeable, and trusted psychiatrist I have seen in my 30 years of treatment. Possessing an excellent “bedside” manner, his assessment process and just being “in-tune” with me are what matters most. He is highly skilled, professional, reliable, and he tells funny jokes, an attribute that I enjoy. I highly recommend Dr. Kahn for medication management or psychiatric care combined with medication management. I love him and hope he never retires.
