I was referred to Dr. Meynig by a doctor who was new to me. At first, I wasn't very impressed with the new doctor, but I decided to see Dr. Meynig after the recommendation. Initially, I intended to consult with him for an opinion only and find someone closer to my location for treatment. I found Dr Meynig to be a wonderful surgeon. My recovery from surgery was smooth and pain free. The orientation of the incision was done in a way to maximize my mobility and minimize strain! However, what I appreciate the most was the great job he did communicating to me in the consult. I had early stage malignant melanoma and he walked me through how it occurs, the severity or lack there of, the process of removal, test result confirmation, and future prevention/detection. I hope you don’t need surgery, but if you I highly recommend dr meynig. Initially he took a lot of time to explain my issue, my options and the procedure. On the day of the surgery at the hospital he had amazing bedside manors. He was confident and relaxed as he explained things again and Really put my wife and I at ease. When I went to get my stitches out a couple days ago he again took a lot of time explaining the results and my options going forward.
