Do not recommend. I was referred by my GP and SPECIFICALLY requested an appointment where the dr measured for leg length discrepanc. AFTER taking x-rays and basic evaluation, the dr told me that: "HE DOESN'T BELIEVE LEG LENGTH DIFFERENCE CAUSE BACK PAIN." If this is the case -- WHY DID THE OFFICE ACCEPT MY APPOINTMENT? It was false advertising that cost me a lot of money and hassle to find another doctor. He also refused to discuss my upper back pain, I had to "come back" for that.

Personally I liked Dr. Cochran and believe he overall is a very capable Dr./Ortho Surgeon. I unfortunately did not have a successful lower back surgery under his care. This was my 2nd lower back surgery. In addition to this my stay at Affinity Hospital was not a pleasant one. I wasn’t kept comfortable pain wise at all and wouldn’t recommend having a low back surgery at that hospital at all!! Trying to get pain medication was next to impossible let alone medication that kept me comfortable!

Dr. Cochran saved my life by operating on my L5 S1. (lower back). I had one surgery from another Dr. to remove the herniation from my disc but that didn't work and the disk collapsed. I was in constant pain, not sleeping, or working, and I walked like an ape. I had given up. So, I decided to let Dr. Cochran look at my MRI and he immediately said, "I can fix that." He was very professional and I immediately trusted him. I said, "Let's do it!" A fusion of those two lower vertebrae and I am great

I saw Dr. Cochran for a ruptured meniscus. He operated on it and the plan was to scrap out the torn tissue. As it turned out he repaired the damage. I went to the hospital in a wheelchair as I could not bear my own weight. I walked out and have never had any problems since. That was about seven years ago. I have recommended him to several friends. .
