My experience with Dr. Brown was very disappointing. I sought therapy because I needed support and specifically communicated that I prefer a more structured, interactive approach to sessions. Despite discussing this preference, I felt that our appointments lacked guidance and direction. Much of each session consisted of me doing all of the talking while receiving very little feedback, prompting, or therapeutic intervention. Dr Brown is incredibly caring, knowledgeable, and a wonderful listener. Unfortunately after I missed one of our recurring appointments he declined to refill my medication prescription until after three further follow-up meetings. At the rates charged for these meetings I am unable to afford to continue with my treatment.

Dr Brown is a sweet natured man who listened well to my dealings with Long Covid issues. There was a misunderstanding that I wanted to share, so you have clarity if you chose to become patient of his practice. If a medication he prescribes does not work, or has an adverse effect - you will be advise, respectfully so, to discontinue… though he will not be willing to write you another script to try without another office visit.
