Dr Neale has an awesome bedside manner. Very compassionate, detailed on what is going to happen and why. Took plenty of time with me in the exam room, never felt rushed. I would give him a 15 on a scale of 1-10!
I was an emergency patient. Arriving in the ER at midnight with severe lower intestinal pain. By 3:00 am, I was in surgery having my sigmoid colon removed. Dr. NEALE was competent, skilled and so knowledgeable. This was the first time we had met! He showed great empathy to me and my wife. There is a reason why most of the review sites are largely negative. The office staff is indifferent at best. Most critically, they don't bother to review the computer records and notes of the other staff even when pointed out the information is already in the record. Certainly this is not the way to provide quality treatment let alone best practice.

He performed surgery on me but never truly explained what he did, gave no aftercare instructions, wouldn't answer my questjons, & was very dismissive not only to me but also my nurses.
Dr. Neale is the doctor you want to treat you. He is caring, kind and has a great bedside manner. He listens to you and gives you the best medical advise one can give. I would recommend him 100 times over and over again.
Dr. Neale is one of only a few surgeons in the Sarasota—Ft. Meyers vicinity who specializes in colon surgeries and accepts TriCare prime health insurance for military personnel. On top of that, he was very professional with me, and more importantly he was very personable (great bedside manner). He answered all my questions before my surgery, explained everything that would be done and explained why, and gave me and my wife a very good post-op summary.
