Dr. Bowman is an excellent physician. He is attentive, listens carefully, and genuinely works with his patients. I have no concerns at all regarding the care he provides. My concern lies with the overall office experience, particularly wait times and front desk communication. A 45-minute wait in the waiting room is not reasonable, and the front office staff has, at times, come across as unprofessional and dismissive. Dr Bowman is the BEST. been going to him for 24 years and I have no issues. They don't make them like him anymore!
The doctor listens very well, is attentive, gives well thought out options, and has great bedside manners. I would recommend him as a family physician easily. In the 10+ years I have been his patient, his staff has seldom followed through with promises or just regular duties. Medications are sometimes not called in; doctor apparently seldom receives messages I left for him, and I could pretty much always count on his staff not doing what they promised me they would. The 3ish star rating overall is an accurate representation of the office overall. I have been a patient of Dr. Bowman's for almost 3 decades. Dr. Bowman is the best doctor I have ever been to. Truly listens to the patients desires. He knows I don't want a symptom cure, and he always prescribes rehabilitive and preventative care, when possible, because this is what I have asked for.
