The Shasta Pizza was delicious and generous. The only thing would be to spread the toppings more evenly. Service was fantastic, friendly and personalable. They do have a pet friendly patio, extra bonus. Easy off and back on to I-5. Definitely worth the stop.
The "steak salad" I ordered was more like Leather salad. The steak was so dry and tough - how is that cooked rare? Zucchini fries also a disappointment. Batter comes right off of them. Asked for extra avocado for my salad and got none. Minimal feta. It was literally a leather salad. Not to mention they forgot the ranch on both orders of Zucchini fries and when I asked about it they said it didn't come with ranch.
Unfortunately, the food was only a one-for-three success at our table. My son ordered the chicken fried steak, and I had the fish and chips. Neither dish was particularly memorable. The fish itself was decent, but the tartar sauce and coleslaw were so disappointing that we barely touched them. The fries were made from real potatoes, which I usually appreciate, but they were overly greasy and not cooked quite right.
