The Original Jefferson’s Restaurant opened in Jacksonville, AL. on September 15, 1991. I had graduated from Jacksonville State University in 1990 and thought that the college desperately needed a local hangout. After putting my college degree to no use for a year, I decided the time was right. Begging my parents for a loan and selling my treasured baseball card collection for the financing. Jefferson's Restaurant I have went to Jefferson's a few times and seems like the food is always a hit or miss. Sometimes it good and sometimes it is cold and doesnt taste right. It would not be my first choice of places to eat in rome.
Delicious food, great atmosphere! Jefferson's has great food and provides a wonderful atmosphere for people of all ages! I would definitely recommend having a plate of wings and a glass of sweet tea. Sometimes the service is slow, so be patient. I will agree with Tracy that "the one downside is the size- sometimes you feel rushed because you see people are waiting to sit down at the door."
Try the Kso chicken. This is a great family place. Come any time of the day and you still get very friendly service and the bathrooms are always clean.This place has the best food I have ever tasted.
Fun atmosphere and great food! Jefferson's is one of the restaurants in Rome that you have to experience. It's small (although I think they are expanding!) and filled with a lot of televisions so you can watch whatever games are on while you eat. They have awesome wings and chicken fingers. The one downside is the size- sometimes you feel rushed because you see people are waiting to sit down at the door.

Well if you dine there pay with cash they'll surely charge someone else's table to your card and finds it okay to tie up your funds for 3-5 days til is returned to your account I'm not talking a $30 screw up I'm talking over $100 I will dine there again because it's average otherwise but make sure I pay with the green stuff.
I don't usually do reviews but I felt the need to write a review after my co-worker and I were TOTALLY ignored by the entire lunch staff today!! We sat down at the 1st table to the left as soon as you walk in. We sat and looked over the menu for approximately 15 minutes. During that time, we watched the slim female waitress with dark hair clean 2 tables near us as well as take the drink order and bring the drinks to a couple that came in after us and sat right behind us to my left.
