I love the outside area, the live music on Friday. It's busy, but it takes 30 minutes for the waitress to reappear, maybe they are understaffed? The biggest problem is the flies! Everywhere! We couldn't stop swatting for a minute. The waitress said there was nothing they could do. We had a party of 5, and the food was good, but I don't think we will go there again. Maybe add a few more fans, or some bug catchers?
Ok so I heard all about these oysters.. I got the rockafeller, cajun and raw.. I was very impressed with the size, quality and freshness of them.. The drinks were also very good.. The only thing that I was surprised at was how long it took to get my order, it wasnt very busy, yet it took longer for me to get my oysters than people that showed up after to get burgers and wings.. The food and drinks are great, but the service sets the pace for a wonderful vibe and overall experience. This truly is my favorite spot to hangout in the opelika area. Kids eat free on Sundays and they have other daily specials. The owners are there daily which shows they care, that makes an obvious difference. Our server Hazel is amazing. I definitely recommend eating there and hanging out to catch a game or two.
