I love him as a person , but unfortunately, being a retired physician myself, my surgeries, first a Nissen Fundoplication and then a Toupet fundoplication....both of them failed...and that is okay, but my vagus nerve has been damaged and now I have gastroparesis for the rest of my life and am devastated ! It is a rare occurrence , I know, and he certainly did not mean for it to happen...but it did... and now what do I do?? I have to be on a soft and liquid diet diet for the rest of my life...baby foods were recommended..... ... read more

Dr. Vaughan performed an umbilical hernia repair on me this morning 8/24/18 and I couldn't be happier with the outcome and the very minimal amount of pain post surgery. His team had nothing but wonderful things to say of him prior to being wheeled into to the OR so that alone made the whole pre op a much more comfortable expierence knowing you are in good hands. Thank you again and I would highly recommend Dr Vaughan to anyone that requires bariatric surgery.
Dr. Vaughan gave me a new life! Before surgery I was unable to keep any food down and had terrible acid reflux on a daily basis. It’s been a week and a half since surgery and I have not been sick since. I am I am eating good, & I feel like a new man! Thank you Dr. Vaughan!

This man is the best abdominal surgeon you will ever find. He did an umbilical repair on me and it is now perfect. If you have any doubts about finding a surgeon pick this man. He is also a very nice person, great sense of humor. I cannot say enough great things about him.

Dr Vaughan is a caring Doctor who diagnosed my medical problem on one visit proceeded by surgery which corrected my problem his staff Adrienne and Pat are the nicest individuals you could ever come in contact with they are always there to help.
Dr. Vaughn is a very concerned, supportive, helpful bariatric surgeon. I lost 125 pounds after having my gastric bypass. The information his office gave me became my bible. I followed it to a T, and had absolutely no problems. I have continued to keep the weight off thank you to all of the support I have received. Bedside manner was not what I needed, therefore he provided the stern get up and go support I needed. I appreciate all he has done and value his opinions and skill w my life.
This was my first surgery and to make things worse it was a hernia surgery, which there are many landmines down there and I was scared I'd never be able to have sex again! Dr. Vaughan was not the most sensitive in the psychological consoling but that's not what I need him for. I need a damn skilled surgeon. It's been several months after surgery. I had no problems at all. I had no swelling at all! I had hardly any bruising, and I healed very fast. Everything is great! He is a artist with a knife
