Dr. Dana who practices there is amazing! She listens to my concerns as a mother and my kids love her as she takes her time and goes slow and explains to them what she is going to do! I wish one day she would take over the whole practice as she and the other staff are great! Dr. Smith dismissed that my son had a beginning ear infection that Dr Dana caught literally the very next day because my son was up all night crying in pain over his ear. Dr. Smith evaluated my son while we were in the hospital when he was born, as our own pediatrician was not on call that weekend. He was beginning to show slight signs of jaundice and she came in to recommend supplementing with formula until we got that under control… HOWEVER, her delivery of the information was no less than absolutely traumatizing! I trusted Dr. Tammy Smith with my daughter's health. I expressed for months my concern I was dismissed as a crazy new mom. Then my daughter had to have surgery due to the concerns I expressed. Then was told there was nothing wrong she was fine was not being heard poor attitudes from the stuff and doctor. I finally switched pediatricians in the first appointment they knew I wasn't crazy something was wrong immediately ran tests and referred us to the GI specialist.
