Had a gas leak in my hot water tank...I reluctantly called 911..thinking its just a little gas smell The group of very professional young ladies and gentlemen showed up with trucks and gear. Everyone was so kind and reassuring.. They located the leak and shut off the gas. Chief John waited with me until PECO came to tag the tank for repair. I am so thankful to live within this fire district.
I want to thank the Jefferson Fire Company for helping us out today. We had a Garter Snake in our laundry room, and I needed it gone. I don’t do snakes, doesn’t matter how small they are. My mom went to the station and came back with Kevin. He was able to get the snake and I was relieved. Because of the holiday weekend, most places we called were closed, and a neighbor suggested the fire department. I’m so happy they could help. Thanks again!
It was my honor DJing last night the annual Jefferson Fire Company No. 1. These men and women protect and maker our community a safe place to live. We humbly thank them all for all the lives they saved through their diligence, hard work and constant watch. It was a very special event, seeing all the people behind the scene and that incredible dedication that they all have made this a FUN event. This is the true spirit of America.
