Bring $. Preferably single $1 bills. The tax assessor office charges $2 for a copy of all stamped paperwork. So not only do you have to pay taxes, they make you pay for proof that you paid.
We experienced 3 staff members who refused to service us after we provided the eligibility letters as stated in the tax assessor's brochure. Very disappointed after we made two trips to provide the documentation and still were refused.Please update your brochure, so that people will bring what's required up front. Poor service especially for senior citizens.
