I took my son to the outreach crisis Center in Thornton and they referred me to The Jefferson Center in wheat ridge. We've been here twice in one month. He's escalating and this place just can't help us. They pre-approved him and pre-authorized him for the Jefferson center. I spent four hours waiting in the clinic and filling out paperwork. Then told me the cost was $900 a day to put him in the Jefferson Center and he needed to be there for 5 days. No one answered the phone when I called. Amazing people work here! My brother has utilized many of the services of Jefferson Center for Mental health for many years including services for counseling, mental health treatments and payee services. Everyone has consistently treated him with kindness and respect! Everyone on the phone, in the office and at each of the service areas has been great! Do not waste your time here you will call they will send you over to nurse hotline for a month striaght and never ever will they answer you will leave voicemails time after time after time and nothing. Go somewhere they care about your mental health and provide great services.

Been going here for years and my therapist has been great. However, they recently asked me for my proof of income to continue at the rate I had been paying and was informed I no longer qualify for the rate I have been paying for all of these years since they saw medical insurance deductions on my paystub. Yes, I have insurance, but seeing a counselor through my insurance is $120/session which I cannot afford which is why I started going here.
