I drove a used car and later that day called the sales person and said I would buy it. I asked if I could put a downpayment on the vehcile. Sales person said they don't take downpayments over the phone for used cars(?) I live just 10 minutes away, but salesperson said I could pick it up and pay for it the next day at 10 a.m. He said he would take care of me and hide the keys to makes sure the car was sold.
