Was referred to him STAT by my GP to after I experienced an Acute Saddle Pulmonary Embolism. It took him three work days to open his email to review referral and "approve" me to his staff for an appointment. The staff indicated the next appointment would be in 4 Months! So much for STAT.
We all know how hard it is to find a doctor who will really listen to your story and medical history, and allow that sharing to inform the doctor’s opinion and diagnosis. Dr. Willoughby is one of those doctors. He is a great communicator, listener and a very knowledgeable doctor with many years of experience. The ENTs I have seen here in Vegas have all had high opinions of Dr. Willoughby also. His staff is responsive and caring. Dr. Willoughby is an excellent pulmonoligist. He saved my life. I have been a patient since 2011. I was appalled seeing a recent post about a grandfather that passed a few weeks after seeing Dr. Willoughby. No one knows when we are going to leave this life. My sincerest condolences to this family. I understand. We miss our loved ones & that never changes. My father passed at age 56. He battled testicular cancer for 2 yrs. He is no longer with LCN. Horrible bed side manner! My grandfather was diagnosed with Pulmonary Fibrosis, we took him in for an appointment because he was having difficulty breathing, we were told my grandfather had a lot of healthy years ahead! My grandfather died 3 weeks later. We were advised by his MA that if we asked too many questions the doctor will get up and leave the exam room! Ridiculous! Wouldn't recommend this "doctor" to my worst enemy!!!!!
