Make sure you know everything S***** should know for all the items necessary for your job! They installed an air handler in the summer that needed a larger size wire supply than the old unit for the heating coils and blamed ME for not telling them what size the old unit was! At least during installation they should have seen what size it required. I didn't notice it until the circuit breaker tripped that winter when I went to use it. He refused to fix /add the new wire because the wire and labor was NOT on his quote....I had... read more

There was nothing to "fix" here. He simply needed a new power wire run to his air handler. This was not included in initial bid, as most replacement jobs the wiring is sufficient. I suggested he get an electrician to run wire. He refused, said he wanted me to run wire and he would pay me. I had an electrician contact customer to view job. When electrician gave customer a quote he became angry and said I should pay for it. I explained over and over that this was not included in HVAC quote.
