Horrible Landlords! Impossible to get in touch with when you have any issues. When you do get in touch with them they want you to fix whatever is wrong. My daughter rented a cabin in the mountains from them and they sold us on how wonderful everything would be! Would not recommend to anyone, horrible experience! Voice mailbox full for days when you need them to handle a problem. They will tell you that you get cable and the truth is cable is not even available in the area. Not good for a college student! Our road has a huge pot-hole/crater spanning the entire lane. There is absolutely no way around it. If you have a lifted jeep, you will still hit the bottom of your car. Of course, it was horrible in the winter when snow and ice would freeze. Many attempts from many different tenants (to get the hole fixed) were ignored. Also, they say they will "Plow the road as many times as we need to to get everyone out safe" when you go to look at the cabins. NO THEY DID NOT. beware! I also had a bad renting experience with the Nichols and I??m sorry to say I honestly don??t have anything good/nice to say about these people. When we moved in it was obvious the place had not been cleaned prior to our arrival - the floors were filthy (walking around barefoot all day turned our feet completely black). There are noticeable deep cracks between all the wooden boards, the place is not well insulated or sound-proof as Jeff had told us.
