As a patient you will be treated as if you work undercover for the DEA. You will be told and gaslighted about Jeff losing his medical license if he prescribes you medicine. Instead of being treated you will be referred to other providers and when you get to those providers they will be unsure why you were referred to them. As a patient, you will be stigmatized, your health concerns will not be heard, you will play a run around game trying to get your medications at the pharmacy, and you're one time incidents in the past will be used against you to deny you adequate and proper treatment. For example: If you have diabetes and overcome it you will still be treated like you have diabetes and not what is relevant to your health. Honest experience: Have to put up with a condescending provider and staff. Guse will use your past against you in treating you. Lacks knowledge regarding medications prescribed and will under medicate you based off of stigma rather than fact and diagnosis. In two years of my life have I never felt so worried about my health not being taken seriously or brushed off by Guse. I had to bring of many concerns of Jeff's actions and was condemned for taking medications as prescribed by other providers from Unity Point urgent care. ... read more
