If I could give them a zero it would be a big fat zero! A small job that should have taken less hours than charged was semi-completed at my house. They work by the hour and the estimate given was exceeded by about two hours which proved very costly. Stay away! The technician wrote down the wrong credit card number and I got threatening messages after that for a mistake that was not mine. I would definitely never use them again.
The receptionist hung up on me when I requested two separate handymen for two separate jobs which they wanted one technician to do for a higher price per hour. Why should I pay a higher price when the two different jobs cost different prices? Do not use Jeeves Handyman, as there are so many less expensive handymen online. Do not be fooled by the $30 discounts because they elevate their prices based on the most complex task assigned. Rhonda
I wish I saw these reviews before hiring. I hired Jeeves for a bathroom renovation and was told my project would be completed the day before Thanksgiving. We are no where to completion because my contractor doesn’t show up. He works a few hours a day and didn’t show at all today. No communication at all. Awful service, they are supposed to work on my deck which took them a week just to change the deck boards. The contract was to change the joist hanger change the deck board and stain the deck board only. Without installing the joist hanger the technician said the jobs were done. the people at the office are good for nothing as well when I ask them why is this one guy coming every day changing two boards a day. she said because that's how he likes to do his jobs. Stay away from this company!!! Very unprofessional. Didn't show up for a scheduled appointment and then made up a bunch of nonsense about why, while I stayed hoe from work.
I needed a handyman for several jobs around my condo. I found Jeeves Handyman Services and spoke to David who gave me an over the phone estimate which was better than a couple if others. I hired him and was glad I did! He did everything I asked, and the jobs were done properly and in a short period of time. I recommend Jeeves Handyman Services and David to anyone that's needs a good and affordable handyman. Thanks guys!
Jim and David were great! Our house's original wood windows needed some TLC, and the guys came out and did a terrific job leveling, sawing, and securing them. Super nice and professional dudes. We'll definitely call them for any future home repair/improvement needs!
