Leaving the keys in the house my room mate broke a window pane trying to 'get into the house'. We called Jeeves and they were able to fix it. The handyman was on time and cleaned up when he finished.
no more dog problems! I recently got a new puppy who was very cute... until one day I came home and he had chewed away some pieces of baseboard and shoe molding through out my apartment. My Landlord gave me Jeeves number to take care of the situation. The guy did a great job and offered some suggestions to prevent any future incidents.

great handyman My husband is active in the military so a lot of times he is not home to take care of repairs. A friend of mine referred me to Jeeves because they offer military discounts. I have called them several times and the majority of the time it is great service.
Constant Sales Calls I called this place one time to ask about a job. Did not engage their services but they apparently captured my phone number and continually call me to offer their services. Not once a year, but often, like at least once a month if not more. I left multiple messages on their machine asking for them to quit calling me. Finally I got a real person and the calls stopped comming.
Could have been great, but, they left the job unfinished. My 75 year old mother, had to argue with the worker, to have him take the waist away. Walls were left with hardened joint compound, un-sanded and un-painted. I had to call them back, to finish the job. $10k is a lot of money, to have in-finished walls
I do not like that I need to give a poor review for a company, but feel I must so that someone else does not make the same mistake I did and hire them. I tried calling them first to express my concerns, since they comment on other bad reviews that they should have called first. The call was very pointless, and I was met with deflection and excuses for each issue. I can only detail 2 issues due to character limit. 1. We hired Jeeves to install a new shower in our basement. It started off well with Jeeves. We had them come out to detect a leak we had in our bathroom ceiling. They were very thorough in investigating where the leaked came from. They ripped up the ceiling and replaced the drywall. They came back the next day to "finish" This is where things started to go wrong. The next day they came back worked on the drywall for a little while and said they needed to come back to sand and paint. I asked if they could come back on Friday or Monday. Jeeves Handyman Service is a total rip off. I have a 2 story townhouse that is not an end unit. 3 contractors showed up to power wash the siding on the front and back of my house and the front of my house is 1/2 brick and they couldn't finish the job in 2 hours. In fact, they quit work after 1 1/2 hours and said that I would have to pay for another 2 hours to just power wash the back. They charge $180 an hour with a 2 hour minimum so to pressure wash 1/2 of the front and the back would have been $360 and they couldn't get th... read more
