Great staff, great doctor, very informative and took the time to explain/ go through every detail with me of my past pregnancy and health history! She deserves more credit than what these reviews are giving her!
During my early pregnancy, I was receiving care at Franciscan in Crown Point, but I did not feel comfortable there and felt really anxious about giving birth in that setting. Switching to Dr. Colon was one of the best decisions I could have made. She is truly exceptional and nonjudgemental. I would gladly drive 40 minutes to see her rather than return to Franciscan. As a healthcare professional myself, this is the worst doctor I have ever encountered. She completely dismissed all my symptoms and concerns for cholestasis, which requires early delivery, she yelled at me on the phone when I called her crying that I felt extremely not right and very sick and told me that I was just being sensitive (I was admitted for low potassium), she was extremely sarcastic and rude, she made me terrified of doctors but luckily I switched to Weise who diagnosed me with cholestasis and delvered my amazing... read more
Dr. Colon and her staff are AMAZING! Dr. Colon is very gentle with her examinations and extremely thorough and attentive. I am currently going through an early pregnancy loss, and Dr. Colon and her MA/Nurse Jasmine have been quick to answer questions and provide speedy updates throughout this process. I highly recommend this practice!
