I was a patient for years, so my decision to seek care elsewhere was not taken lightly. While I appreciated Dr Niemisto's efforts, in my opinion, the virtual appointments were often rushed and did not provide adequate time for me to fully address my concerns. I also found the appointment scheduling process to be cumbersome and impersonal; I would have preferred to speak to an actual human being rather than scheduling them online and then waiting for a text confirmation to come through.
I was a patient of Dr. Niemesto. I would NOT recommend her for medication prescribing or therapy.
Very expensive for someone who does not listen.
She listens carefully, is well versed on all the recent psychiatric research and she is trustworthy. I highly recommend her.
Doctor took the time to listen to my concerns and I felt she really cared to help me.

Dr. Niemisto is caring and kind and really made me feel at ease when I was very nervous. I wish all doctors had her caring beside manner. She truly cares about my mental well being. She came up a wonderful treatment plan that included a great combination of medications and therapy. Before I met her, I was suffering a lot, but thanks to Dr. Niemisto I am feeling so much better.
